What Information We Collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, telephone number (optional), subject and message – only what you choose to enter.
• Emails and calls: anything you send or tell us when you contact us directly.
• Technical information: when you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically processes your IP address, browser type, device and the pages requested, in order to deliver and secure the site. We do not use this to identify you.

We do not collect payments through this website and we do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Please do not include sensitive information (such as health or financial details) in your messages.

How and Why We Use It

• To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to prepare a quote or discuss a project. This is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and is in our legitimate interests as a business.
• To keep a record of our communications, and, if you become a client, to deliver the project and keep the accounting and tax records we are legally required to keep.
• To keep the website secure and working properly (legitimate interests).

We do not sell your information, and we will not send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Who We Share It With

We use the following service providers, who handle information on our behalf:

• FormSubmit (formsubmit.co): contact form messages pass through this service so that they can be emailed to us.
• Netlify: hosts this website and processes visitors’ technical information, as described above.
• Our email and domain provider (Wix): receives and stores the emails we receive, and holds our domain name.

The fonts on this website are hosted on the site itself, so your browser does not contact Google or any other font service. Our Instagram link takes you to Instagram, which has its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information where the law requires us to.

Transfers Outside the UK

Some of the providers above may store or process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, we expect them to use safeguards recognised by UK data protection law.

How Long We Keep It

• Enquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 6 months, then deleted.
• If you become a client: for the duration of the project, then for as long as we need to keep accounting and tax records (generally up to six years).
• Technical information held by our hosting provider: according to that provider’s own retention periods.

Cookies and Browser Storage

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. When you choose Accept or Decline on the notice at the bottom of the page, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so we do not ask you again. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Your Rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Security and Children

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but email is not a fully secure way to send information, so please bear that in mind. This website is not aimed at children.
